What was supposed to be two weeks has turned into 20 days (and counting). The delay is due to waiting on results from some blood tests. The first tests showed I am "really anemic" (my doc's words) and vitamin D deficient. There's still some confusion as to whether or not my thyroid was tested, so I may get to go in again, and get stuck a third time.
It hasn't been easy, but it honestly hasn't been as hard as I feared.
Apparently God is bigger than detox...

Meds or no meds, life does go on. . . a better update to come, hopefully...

2 weeks = 14 days = 336 minutes = ...
I saw my doctor tuesday, aaaaand he's taking me off my medicine. Technically I'm switching but since I've been taking an MAOI, I have to go two weeks without anything.
Begin freakout...now...

Two days down, twelve to go. Things are going ok so far, except for a massive headache I've been fighting all day.
Another fun fact: I don't have another day off til next Friday (what???)

thanks hugh

Sometimes my dad confuses me. Tonight I was checking my email, and saw this:

First of all, I didn't even know he knew what youtube was.
My second thought was that he must have figured out how to upload and was sending me a video of my niece or nephew. Thats a logical conclusion, right?
But no. Instead, I hear the voice of Nick Cannon and realize I'm watching a clip from America's got Talent.
What??!
More importantly, why???
Possible reasons my dad sent this specific video:

take a look, its in a book
Lately I've been reading Restless Faith by Winn Collier. So far, its amazing, so I wanted to share a few pieces (and perhaps entice you to read it yourself).
True theology is never a dry, intellectual exercise; rather, it is the endeavor to be consumed with the reality of the One who is beyond our categories in such a way that we point in his direction.
God has gone to incredible lengths to pursue his own glory by winning the hearts of his people. And these incredible lengths step outside our bounds, outside our sensibilities.
...we struggle because of how faith has been defined for us. We have been told that faith is claiming a reality and seeing it come to pass. Faith is taking God at his word and waiting until we see him move.
We often approach God as a means to get what we want, but his desire is to in fact be what we want.
